Our fearless leader is <strong>Rich Heimlich<\/strong>. Rich has been in the game development world since the early 1980&#8217;s having founded the very first, and largest quality assurance testing firm in the video entertainment industry &#8212; <strong>Top Star<\/strong>. Top Star&#8217;s credits include literally several thousand software and hardware products that they helped to develop over a 16 year period. If you played a video game from that era chances are that Top Star helped make it the very best it could be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rich is also a noted author having written several books, including the bestselling <strong><em>Sound Blaster: The Official Book<\/em><\/strong> series. He has also written for several of the top publications in the multimedia industry, appeared in the documentary, <strong><em>Beep: A Documentary History of Game Sound<\/em><\/strong>, and is a member of the <strong>Philadelphia Film Critics Circle<\/strong> and the <strong>Broadcast Film Critics Association<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;re a mishmash of old and new game developers.
